  • On the basis of archival materials of Department of popularization and propaganda of Tambov region committee of The All-Union communist party (Bolsheviks) the public mood in the election day in the Supreme Soviet of RSFSR of the first convocation (June, 26th, 1937) is investigated in the article. The public mood is considered as the indicator of the relation of the population to the power: the concrete facts of positive and negative attitude of different levels of population to elections and candidates are mentioned.
