?:abstract	Purpose: define the role of social partnership in solving social problems on rural areas. Methodology: The main empirical research methods were expert interviews, focus groups and document analysis. Results: On the materials of Research of Semenov district of Nizhny Novgorod region the article considers several innovative projects for solving local social problems, with realization of which a network of partnerships arose, analyzes the results of social partnership and the challenges for further development.
