  • The purpose of the article is to determine the place of socio-demographic (family, marriage, having children) factors in the influence of religiosity on subjective well-being. A review of the literature and views of Russian and foreign researchers in the field of psychology, sociology and philosophy on the understanding of the terms «subjective well-being», «life satisfaction» and «happiness» is conducted. To achieve the purpose of the study, two groups of factors (religious and social) affecting subjective well-being were analyzed. As part of the study, a regression analysis of data from the European Values Survey for 2017 (the last round) was carried out. The results of the study indicate the presence of a positive influence of the components of religiosity on subjective well-being. It was determined that marriage, family and having children positively affect the level of life satisfaction and happiness in any combination of variables in the regression analysis. (xsd:string)
