?:abstract
  • The relation between social protection and labour market follows three different axes: unemployment benefits, programs aiming at improving earnings of workers and active labour market policies. In this paper we present a characterization of these interventions in Spain, placing them in context with equivalent institutions of high income countries and discussing their major impacts and implications. Finally, we discuss the role of such policies in the situation of crisis that characterized the Spanish society nowadays as well as in the near future. (xsd:string)
