Amongst ISSP countries, people support pay inequality and similarly rank various occupations on an ideal scale. The British, the Dutch, Americans, and Austrians support the greatest degree of pay differentials while the Swiss, Australians, and Hungarians favor the least differential. Respondents in high occupational positions tend to support such inequality.
