  • For populations of economically developed countries, long life has become a reality. Currently, life expectancy at birth is around 82 years for women and 76 years for men in Czechia. At the age of 65, which is the age officially considered as the old age threshold, women have on average of more than 20 years and men of more than 16 years to live.
