?:abstract
  • This chapter presents an empirical assessment of social values towards the economy and business enterprise in Turkey. Public preferences include strong support of an active and interventionist public sector. There are also increasing public preferences for business to pursue active corporate social responsibility strategies. The problems of family violence and violence against women are highlighted as issues the public feels the private sector should help address. The chapter also evaluates corruption from the perspective of business community members and explores the determinants of corrupt activities. (xsd:string)
