?:abstract
  • "The [...] presentation in the session focused on the influence of interviewers' contact behavior on the contact and cooperation rate in face-to-face household surveys. Using data from the German General Social Survey (ALLBUS) 2000. Study results revealed that the mode of first contact has no effect on the contact rate, but has a positive effect on the cooperation rate. Interviewers who reported they normally show up unannounced on the door step achieved better results than interviewers who telephone ahead to set up an appointment." (xsd:string)
