?:abstract
  • Self-employed people have more job satisfaction than employees due to the relative autonomy of self-employment. The value of self-employment does not come from perceived material benefits. This confirms the relavence of procedural utility to economic theory, as it shows that people care how they generate outcomes not just which outcomes they create. Unfortunately, however, in many Western countries around half of the work force wishes to be self-employed yet is not. (xsd:string)
