PropertyValue
?:abstract
  • Survey data support the theory that atheism is in part caused by few or weak social obligations. Less social obligation makes individuals have less need to use religion as a compensation mechanism. The secularization hypothesis can be rephrased as modernity decreasing fertility rates and individuals' other interpersonal obligations and, thus, also causing religiosity to decline. (xsd:string)
