  • The data set contains a fourwave panel study including ZA Study Nos 1915 to 1918 In the first wave 2056 persons were interviewed in the second wave 1678 persons 202 telephone interviews in the third wave 1451 101 telephone interviews and in the fourth wave after the Federal Parliament Election 907 respondents were interviewed by telephone The persons targeted in the first wave were selected by random however only those persons were interviewed who agreed to participate in the following surveys Thus even the first wave cannot be called representative Representative surveys at the same period of time are archived under ZA Study Nos 1920 Politbarometer West for the year 1990 1987 Politbarometer East for the second half of 1990 1964 and 1965 quick surveys before the Federal Parliament Election 1990 in West and East (en)
