Social media posts claim a video interview shows the Frontier Airlines flight attendant who duct taped an unruly passenger to his seat on August 3, 2021. But the segment is actually a comedy sketch parodying the incident. The social media posts show real footage of 22-year-old Maxwell Berry screaming profanities and attacking a male flight attendant on a Frontier flight, followed by a skit with a mock-interview of the employee who taped Berry to his seat . But not everyone understood it was a joke. Give him a raise, one user who shared the video on August 6, 2021 wrote on Instagram. He kept the other passengers safe AND he kept the other flight attendants safe. The on-screen text introduces the man as Alfredo Rivera, a flight attendant. Bates has posted several videos of parody new clips based on real events. He shared the flight attendant video on his YouTube channel, also called The Real Spark, where it was viewed more than four million times. Welcome to Spark Nation where you will be entertained by Comedy, Gameplay, Reactions, and more! the page description reads. The parody followed the arrest of Berry who was charged with three misdemeanor counts of battery for assaulting one flight attendant and groping two others. Alfredo Rivera was the name of the man who recorded the footage of the incident, according to local reporting .
