An image shared on Facebook by the page Appalachian Memes claimed that a new line of Peeps marshmallow treats would be pickle-flavored. Coming soon! reads the image. Verdict: False The public relations company that represents the Peeps brand told The Daily Caller that pickle-flavored Peeps are not for sale or in the works. Fact Check: Sold in a variety of shapes and flavors, Peeps are a popular candy treat enjoyed around Easter. However, shoppers looking for pickle-flavored marshmallows will be disappointed. It is not in the works, nor was it available this year. This year we have other interesting flavors such as Root Beer and Pancakes & Syrup, but no pickle, Sara Semple of Coyne PR, which represents Peeps, told the Caller. According to a press release issued by Just Born Quality Confections , Peeps is also offering their traditional marshmallows in flavors like cotton candy, orange sherbet dipped in creme-flavored fudge and, at select retailers, blue raspberry and chocolate caramel swirl.
