There are no credible news reports suggesting Twitter employees have publicly protested recent layoffs. However, an open letter circulated within the company before the layoffs, calling the plan reckless, undermines our users’ and customers’ trust in our platform, and is a transparent act of worker intimidation. Likewise, neither Musk nor the social media platform’s communications team has publicly commented on the claim via their verified social media accounts.
