  • Controversial Nigerian crossdresser and male Barbie aka Bob Risky is Dead, declares a post on the Facebook page AIT Nigeria News . Bobrisky , born Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju, is famous for her skits on social media, particularly Snapchat . The 13 January 2020 post claims a doctor from Lagos State University Teaching Hospital stated that Bobrisky was rushed to the clinic in the wee hours of yesterday after surviving a fatal accident allegedly on his way to a party. The doctor stated that though he was conscious as at the time of entry into the clinic, there was nothing they could do as he had lost so much blood. Is Bobrisky really dead? We checked. Fake African Independent Television news page The Facebook page that posted the story uses the Africa Independent Television logo, but it is not affiliated with the privately owned Nigerian television broadcaster. In the About section to the page, it says: Please note, this isn't Africa Independent Television. This is a news portal for the masses. There was nothing about Bobrisky reported on the official Facebook page of African Independent Television . Several people commented on the post , saying the news was fake. No other credible media organisations reported that Bobrisky was dead or had been involved in a fatal accident. Bobrisky alive, active on social media And Bobrisky personally put the rumour to rest. Anybody wishing me dead will die before me. I will slay in all black to your burial, she posted on Instagram on 13 January.
