The final voter turnout was 46,937,139, according to James Jimenez, spokesman for the Commission on Elections . Jimenez talked about the voter turnout in a press conference on May 22, 2019. Here is a video of the press conference. Jimenez stated details about the voter turnout from the 51 seconds mark. The local turnout is 75.90 percent. This is for the local voters, not including the OAV (overseas absentee vote). We’re still checking the turnout for the OAV, but it looks slow, so 75.90 voters locally, meaning to say 46,937,139, he said.
