The video shows Pelosi leaving her San Francisco home Oct. 30, just two days after an attack on her husband, Paul Pelosi, according to NBC Bay Area . Paul Pelosi continues to recover following an attack at their home, the video’s caption reads in part. Paul Pelosi was attacked on Oct. 28 by 42-year-old David DePape after entering the speaker’s home, according to USA Today . There are no credible news reports suggesting the Democratic Speaker of the House was arrested. Likewise, Pelosi has neither mentioned the claim via her website nor her verified social media accounts . The San Francisco Police Department also has not commented on the purported claim. This is not the first time the Democratic House Speaker has been the subject of a false social media claim.
