Fox News Host Tucker Carlson Dies in Suspicious Accident-Fiction! Fox News Host Tucker Carlson Dies in Suspicious Accident- Fiction! Summary of eRumor: Fox News host Tucker Carlson was severely injured and later died in a head-on-collision with a car that had a reinforced bumper and added safety features that made the accident suspicious. The Truth: A self-described fake news website is behind a string of false reports that Fox News host Tucker Carlson was in a suspicious accident and later died from his injuries in May 2017. The website, Last Line of Defense , published a series of stories that chronicled the suspicious accident in which a truck crossed a median and collided head-on with a car that Tucker Carlson was driving to tape his show, Tucker Carlson Tonight, in New York City. The first report , which was quickly shared on social media nearly 6,000 times, hinted that the accident appeared suspicious because of safety features added to the car that struck him: The car that crossed the median and struck Carlson had a reinforced bumper and the steering wheel was covered with foam to provide the driver extra protection from a crash. It’s obvious that someone wanted to do harm to another human being on purpose. Whether or not Carlson was specifically targeted or just in the wrong place at the wrong time remains unknown. The perpetrator fled the scene. The Ford Explorer he was driving had no plates or VIN numbers. Police have impounded it as evidence. Last Line of Defense then published a follow-up report that Tucker Carlson had died from his injuries, and that it appeared the crash was no accident after all: Fox News superstar Tucker Carlson succumbed to his injuries and died overnight after being hit head-on while driving home. The Ford Explorer that crossed the median to slam into him was stolen, reinforced to sustain a head-on collision without killing the driver and left at the scene. After a preliminary investigation, police have ruled out an accident and Carlson’s cause of death has been ruled a homicide. After word spread that the report was false, Last Line of Defense tried to shift blame in a third report that claimed a liberal troll was responsible for the hoax If you’ve seen the reports coming out of such reputable hack sites as Dailyusaupdate.com, redbox.com and many others, you might think that Tucker Carlson had died. The truth is, Tucker Carlson, who the report said was murdered in an intentional hit and run Friday night after a Fox broadcast in New York, is alive and well and living in Washington DC. These three reports (like everything else that appears at Last Line of Defense ) should not be taken seriously. The site’s disclaimer states that its content should be considered satirical, and that it sometimes reports facts that don’t necessarily exist.
