The Facebook page Naivas Supermarket jobs is out to scam innocent job seekers by offering nonexistent jobs at Naivas , a chain of supermarkets in Kenya. The page links to a Google Form where job seekers can supposedly apply. Multiple vacancies are listed on the form , for cleaners, receptionists, drivers, accountants, distributors, marketers, supervisors and more. But to apply, people are required to pay a fee of KSh350 to one Mr. Musyoka, described as the Naivas recruitment officer. This is a clear sign of a scam . The handle of the Naivas Supermarket jobs page is @Naivas-Supermarket-jobs-123149465744965 . Africa Check has exposed another scam page with almost exactly the same name – Naivas Supermarket Jobs – and the handle @Naivasupermarket . Don’t pay money to apply for jobs The page transparency section shows that Naivas Supermarket jobs was created on 24 September 2019. The official Naivas Supermarkets Facebook page was created nine years earlier, on 19 August 2010. Job adverts on the real page do not require job seekers to apply through a Google Form. And any legit job ad will not ask you to pay money to apply. Fraudulent job adverts have become rampant on Facebook. To avoid falling victim, read our guide to Facebook scams and how to spot them . – Grace Gichuhi
