The Facebook post purports U.S. Marines discovered a warehouse in the San Fernando Valley in California that held human body parts. Marines found instead coolers containing organs—livers, lungs, kidneys, hearts, and, yes, intestines—that had been excised from adolescent children, the post reads in part. This claim is baseless. There are no credible news reports suggesting that Marines made any such discovery. No announcement related to the claim has been released by the Los Angeles Police Department on their website or verified social media accounts .
