  • In March 2021, United States President Joe Biden's dog Major was involved in two minor biting incidents. As the president's pooch problems were genuine, some may have been prone to believe that Daybook.com's job listing for a presidential dog trainer was also authentic. On April 1, a screenshot showing this intriguing job title on the jobs search website started circulating on social media. This is not a genuine job listing. Daybook's job listing is filled with enough technical jargon that includes the words to meet the minimum qualification requirements for this position, applicants must meet the requirements for the GS-343 series (GS-14/15 or equivalent) as defined by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management Qualifications Standards Manual for General Schedule Positions to make it read as if this was a true job listing for a government position. However, those who scrolled all the way to the bottom of the page were met with the words APRIL FOOLS! in big, bold letters. (en)
