On 27 March 2016, the web site World News Daily Report published an article reporting that an Idaho woman was suing the Kotex company for $1.4 million dollars because, she claimed, one of her daughters lost her virginity while using a tampon: This article was soon widely spread by social media users and reproduced on numerous right-wing and anti-Islam blogs and web sites as if it were a genuine news report. However, it is nothing more than a work of fiction published by the fake news site World News Daily Report, whose other fabricated stories include NAZI ENTHUSIAST IMPREGNATES OWN WIFE WITH FROZEN SPERM OF HITLER and MAN ACCUSED OF HATE CRIME FOR GIVING A LAP DANCE TO A PERSISTENT JEHOVAH’S WITNESS.
