Bruce Reinhart, the federal magistrate judge who signed off on the warrant allowing federal agents to search former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, once worked as a defense attorney representing employees of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. But a photo now circulating online that appears to show Reinhart with Ghislaine Maxwell, who was recently sentenced to 20 years in prison for helping Epstien sex traffick children, was doctored. The dude on the right signed the Mar ALago warrant, reads one description of the image that appears to show Maxwell massaging Reinhart’s bare feet as he holds oreos, a bottle of bourbon and a red plastic cup. On Aug. 11, Brian Kilmeade, filling in as host of the Fox News show Tucker Carlson Tonight, shared the altered image during a broadcast. Sean Hannity later noted that the photo was altered. Posts sharing these images were flagged as part of Facebook’s efforts to combat false news and misinformation on its News Feed. (Read more about our partnership with Facebook .) In the original photo , Maxwell is massaging Epstein’s feet. An FBI agent testified during Maxwell’s trial that it was among a series of photos seized during a raid of Epstein’s Manhattan home in 2019.
