  • On 26 January 2020 US basketball star Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna were killed in a helicopter crash near Calabasas in California. He is survived by his wife Vanessa Bryant, their three other daughters, and his parents. Now a video is circulating on Facebook with the claim it shows the crash that killed Bryant, his daughter and seven other people. The grainy footage shows a helicopter out of control, tumbling through the air in a mountainous area, before hitting the ground and bursting into flames. Crash in United Arab Emirates in 2018 A Google reverse image search reveals that the video is two years old. It was filmed in the United Arab Emirates in December 2018. A rescue helicopter had clipped the world’s longest zip-line in Ras al-Khaimah , near the UAE's highest mountain, Jebel Jais. Four people were killed in the resulting crash.
