The Truth: Roxana Mayer was at the town hall meeting in Houston Texas where she told Representative Sheila Jackson Lee that she was a general practitioner for four years and asked about HR-3200, the Proposed Health Care Bill. According to a Lone Star Times August 13, 2009 article, Mayer admitted to impersonating a physician at the town hall meeting. The paper said she disclosed that information to Lone Star Times blogger David Jennings in a phone interview. Mayer told Jennings that she thought it would help her credibility. Mayer was an Obama Campaign Volunteer and an Obama State Delegate for the Houston, Texas area during the 2008 Election, according to the BarackObama.com web site and an August 13, 2009 article that appeared in the Houston Chronicle.
