Disney allegedly just filed a patent for a new roller coaster that jumps off the track, the caption reads. If it is ever completed, it will be one of the most advanced amusement park rides ever built. The post garnered over 71,000 likes and received multiple comments questioning the safety of the proposed coaster. Everyone get your lawyers ready, reads one comment. The claim stems from an Oct. 30 article from The Mouse Trap, a Disney-themed website that identifies itself as satire on its About page. Likewise, there are no credible news reports to show that Disney plans to implement such a ride.
