  • Scammers are sending out fake employment letters for jobs at Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Health and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on WhatsApp. One version even has the NCDC’s logo. This is to inform you that you have been offered provisional employment in our organization with Staff Number- FMH/NCDC/DO2020ASL8/2020, it reads . You are expected to assume the position of administrative staff. Resumption is on 17 August 2020. Further instructions will be communicated to you from relevant quarters. You will be placed on the COMPASS Salary Scale, an NHIS insurance policy, housing allowance and other allowances. Your allowances will be communicated to you at a later date. We expect your total cooperation. ‘NCDC not conducting any recruitment’ On 15 August, the NCDC tweeted that the letter was fake.
