On another Facebook page, the photo was shared with the claim it shows a crowd welcoming Raila Odinga , leader of the opposition Orange Democratic Movement . Here the caption reads: Ukaribisho wa Raila Odinga kwenye mji wa Nyeri hii leo baada ya kuhudhuria Kanisa. This loosely translates as: Raila Odinga’s welcome to the town of Nyeri today after attending a church service. Does the photo show rallies for either of these political giants? We checked. Celebration of Algeria’s 2019 Afcon win A reverse image search for the photo brings up Algeria. The clues were in Arabic script on the side of the bus. We also found a video posted on Twitter by Algerian news site TSA Algérie showing a victory parade for Algeria’s national football team. A multimedia story on Sports Illustrated shows the bus with its Arabic script, the Algerian flag and the players. The sports magazine also reposted TSA Algérie’s Twitter video with the caption : An absolutely WILD scene as the Algerian national team arrives home after winning #AFCON2019 . Algeria beat Senegal to win the African Cup of Nations football tournament on 19 July 2019 . The photo posted on Facebook shows the team’s triumphant return home to Algeria on 20 July.
