The mugshot shared in the Facebook post is of a person involved in an accident in North Carolina. Fact Check: The gunman who is suspected of shooting five people at an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is being held on charges of murder and hate crime, according to AP News . Democratic Colorado Gov. Jared Polis announced he would take a hard look at the state’s red flag law to understand how the suspect was able to purchase a firearm despite a previous arrest, The Hill reported. The Facebook post claims to show an image of the suspected shooter. The image features a mugshot of a white man in a hoodie. THE CLUB Q SHOOTING, the caption reads. THE SHOOTER ANDERSON LEE ALDRICH. However, the image is not of Aldrich. The man in the image is Landen Christopher Glass , identified by AP Images. Glass lost control of a vehicle towing a parade float in Raleigh, North Carolina which resulted in the death of a girl participating in the event, according to police. A mugshot of Aldrich was released by the Colorado Springs Police Department, showing the suspects face extensively bruised after being subdued and beat by patrons in the club, according to TMZ .
