North Korean president arrives in Moscow to coincide with upcoming speech by Russian president today. However, the video does not show Kim recently meeting with Putin in Moscow. A reverse image search found that the video is from 2019. The longer version of the video was shared to YouTube by Canadian-based news outlet Global News. The video shows Putin and Kim meeting in Vladivostok, which is located in Russia’s Far East, for their first face-to-face meeting to discuss the country’s nuclear program and tensions on the Korean peninsula, according to CNBC . There are no credible news reports of a recent meeting in Moscow between North Korea’s leader and Putin. Misinformation around North Korean-Russian relations is not new.
