This website allows access to the OAI-PMH API of the GESIS Knowledge Graph (GESIS KG). The GESIS KG represents metadata of scientific resources available in the GESIS Search and its semantic relationships in an integrated and consistent form and makes them accessible for reuse. The GESIS KG contains links between different scientific resources, e.g., links between data, publications, and instruments, and links to entities like authors and social science concepts.
This OAI-PMH API provides metadata records of the GESIS KG encoded in the DataCite metadata format. The API uses the OAI-PMH v2.0 protocol for providing and harvesting metadata. The API has been developed using jOAI.
The following OAI-PMH standard functionalities are supported by the API:
The GESIS KG metadata records are organized in sets according to their data source and resource type. A specific OAI set will be provided to select records relevant to OpenAIRE for harvesting. For this set, the DataCite metadata schema has been adjusted to be compatible with OpenAIRE.
