To learn from the training data which features allowed for the highest accuracy in predicting the domain of a block, the mask used to extract the data and the amount of smoothing were varied: Different brain masks were defined by thresholding the mean z-score maps for each of the five conditions on different levels of z-values and using only the remaining above-threshold voxel with highest values for computing correlations.
